Workday: Mowing/Sawyer Split Workday

Since we have a large crew on Tuesdays, we will start day split into 2 crews and rejoin for a tailgate cooked lunch. Will confirm crews by email prior.

Crew 1: (Mark, Iain, Todd, Robin) Workday scheduled to complete mowing M56-M57. One mower out and back. There is a tree to cut very close to M54 at 202/207 intersection. We will then continue to Trailhead 11 (10-mile drive) and clean up the parking lot. Finally, meet up with Crew 2 at TH13 (a 5-mile drive) for the provided lunch.

Crew 2: (Bill, Mona, + 2 more) Workday to mow TH13 South to campsite and back. Also, remove trees across the trail. Crew 1 will join Crew 2 at TH13 for a provided lunch. (Note: TH13 to TH12 is being mowed on Saturday prior).

Registration Info

Registration is required

No walkup volunteers can be accepted. All participants must have a Volunteer Service Agreement (VSA) approved by the USFS and in Club records. Volunteers should wear sturdy footwear, long pants, and light long-sleeved shirt. Bring ample water (hydration pack recommended), snacks, and insect repellent. Please bring leather work gloves and some form of eye protection (glasses, dark glasses). Hardhats required. Bring your own hardhat or we will have some spares. No pets.
